For my second shop to go to to find 50 dollar, or under 50 fashion, I ventured into CrossRoads Training. I’m sure most of you have heard of this place because it is a very big chain. If you don’t know what it is, it’s a consignment store where you can purchase clothes for cheaper prices, including some famous designer as well as you can bring your own clothes in to sell for money or store credit.
Today when I went inside, with my one small bag of clothes to sell, there was a big line for buyers and the store was greatly understaffed. Since I had time to kill, I began my 50 dollar shopping spree and let me tell you, I found some fun stuff.
The first thing that caught my eye were these incredible and iridescent hot pink and purple platforms. I had never seen a pair like that before and for only 28 dollars which in Hollywood would go for maybe 100 minimum. I had to snag those for this.
The next thing I spotted in the accessory area was a really cool studded black wallet that could also work as a small purse. When I looked at the price I was shocked. It was originally $10.50 but was on sale for half off. That was crazy. Now at a lot of consignment stores will put their items on sale because of scratches or maybe missing threads, etc. but when I looked up close at the wallet, I really didn’t see any flaws or they were really minor.
The last thing I spotted was a beautiful tye dye snake print blouse in different shades of roses and pinks. It only cost $16.50 so it was definitely a steal.
So here is my total for these items was only $49.99 dollars! Yay!
If you have never been to Crossroads, I definitely recommend it. When I lived in San Fransisco, I was there almost every week to see what goodies they had. Definitely look the locations near you and I almost forgot….. if you buy some thing there and then change your mind, even after wearing it. You can sell it back to them. A little piece of advice. hehe. Thank you everyone for enjoying this post and I wish you a great evening or morning depending where you live.
xoxo
