Maleficent Makeup with Rhonda

E97AD45C-1D65-4FEF-8A52-03BA1B8A0C19   I couldn’t resist the urge to post yet another picture of my heavy metal sister Rhonda Burnett. As a new ritual, I should put a new makeup picture of  her every week. Hehehe. The reason for posting about her again, not that I need one,  is because of her incredible makeup look that turned herself into Maleficent. She looks absolutely stunning and if we lived closer I know we’d be doing our makeup together almost daily.

Enjoy another one of Rhonda’s wonderful makeup looks. I’m thinking of attempting this makeup job in the future. We shall see.

RuPaul and Rain

Good Morning everyone. I was not ready for the “Spring Forward” time change.

Yesterday, last evening, and this morning I’ve been enjoying the much needed rain plus all the fog and the mist where you couldn’t even see the mountains. It was so beautiful and my favorite type of weather.

Right now besides enjoying the rain, I’m having my first cup of coffee out of triple “Alice in Wonderland,” tea mug, and watching RuPaul’s Drag Race.

I love RuPaul’s show. It is so glamourous, creative, artistic, and the drag queens are talented, hilarious and can be a bit “shady” which I love.

This is a nice way to spend the morning first thing. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Halloween at Disneyland

Today I went to Disneyland and had such fun. All the Halloween decorations were so wonderful. Believe it or not, I had never been to Disneyland for Halloween, at least maybe not since I was really little. My husband and I went today because not only were we making plans to go but also it was one of my husband’s employee’s birthday. We started out having breakfast at the Carnation Cafe on Disney’s main street where my husband ate a frittata shaped like Mickey Mouse. Super cute.

After breakfast we started  going on some rides. We started out at Indiana Jones followed by Pirates of Caribbean. After that, my man and I went straight to the Haunted Mansion, which of course was all decked in Halloween decoration, mixed with “Nightmare Before Xmas,” mixed with some of the original decor that you see all year round.

Even though my husband and I went last December where they had the “Nightmare Before Xmas,’ out in full force, the house and ride this time were completely different. Today they did a Halloween narrative about Jack Skellington, his journey, and the rest of  film’s characters. It was exactly like the beginning of the movie and a Xmas bedtime story. Such a fun ride.

After Disneyland, we used our special passes for California Adventure, my first time going there as well. I grew up in California and never had a burning desire to go. I’d rather have spent more time at Disney in the past, but California Adventure was a lot of fun. Walking through, you feel like you’re on an old Hollywood movie set. The attractions were very cool.

Once we were done for the day, we picked up some awesome souveneirs back at Disneyland and ventured back to our car. All in all today was definitely a magical day and I’m glad I got to experience Disneyland during the Halloween season, and especially glad I got to share the day with my most wonderful man.
