I’ve been wanting to do this photoshoot for awhile now and yesterday I finally got to do it and am so happy with the results. My inspiration was my beautiful kimono mixed with one of Dita Von Teese’s performances, “Opium Den,” which is the costume she was wearing when I first met her. This particular performance definitely inspired me in this shoot and I felt like I was channeling a bit of Dita. I even donned her lingerie under my robe.
I love these photos and a huge thank you to my guy Nima Sorat for shooting me. I hope you all enjoy my burlesque kimono photos.

It’s about time! I finally have my own merchandise store online. Year’s ago I had clothing I designed in a local store where I did silkscreen prints and painting and photography imagery and I loved seeing people wearing it.
Now I have my online shop open and live and am very excited about it. I designed all my stuff and sell a lot of products from T-shirts to leggings, to socks, to bags, hoodies, mugs, and more. This is the perfect time to shop since it’s the holiday season. Here are some examples of some of my merchandise but check out my shop at teespring.com/stores/carlies-store to see everything you can get:
I POSTED THIS FIRST THING ON MY ART SITE: WWW.CARLIEMICHELLESORATARTWORLD.COM BUT WANTED TO POST HERE AS WELL BECAUSE I’M SO EXCITED AND PROUD OF THIS!!!!! YOU CAN NOW WEAR MY ART WORK AS FASHION AGAIN!!!
Thank you to Big Cartel and Metal Works for creating these personalized pins of my art work. We collaborated on what I wanted engraved and the materials I wanted for them and we came up with an amazing product. To start with, two art pieces of mine were chosen. The first one is titled, “LUST” and the second pin you can get is titled, “Rare Oddity.” Both styles are made with strong, sturdy, and beautiful enamel which give a nice gloss to them without being over powering so you can see the art work perfectly without a glare.
Either style retails for $12.00 plus shipping. (THE FIRST 10 PEOPLE WHO PURCHASE A PIN WILL GET A LITTLE SURPRISE AS WELL!)
I’ve always been a huge advocate in artists supporting other artists and I hope everyone enjoys this customized pins! Leave a comment below or hit me up on any of my social media pages to place an order!
I don’t do these often but when I do, I like to show everything and do them in a fun way so sometimes you’ll see ootd photos or videos like today. I wanted to do this video to show my spooky sexy outfit for getting my first batch of 2019 Halloween decorations at Michael’s, my home away from home. Here’s my video of my Outfit of the Day.
I know it’s been awhile since I’ve done a shoot, an article write-up or shot a video for my channel, but it’s because I’ve had a lot of stuff going on in my life and it’s been chaotic. But with that said, I’m back! Yay!
Here’s another sexy and beautiful collab with my pinup sister, Peggy Stone. She’s such a doll. Her and I both love wearing wigs and have a fun wig collection so we decided to do a double shot wig collaboration. While she donned a beautiful teal blue mermaid fantasy wig, I wore my new pink Paige boy wig which I hadn’t worn yet except in my last video where I reviewed Beauty Bakerie for my YouTube channel.
Between the two of us, we look like a beautiful vintage swirl of cotton candy. I hope you enjoy our photos here and stay tuned for more wig shots from both of us and much more content. Wishing you all a great week and see you soon.
I’m very excited to announce my new published summer spread for Passion Pinups Magazine. It’s just in time for tomorrow’s SUMMER SOLSTICE/LITHA! Here are a few sneak peeks from the issue but make sure to see my full spread as the “Queen of the Mermaids,” buy getting your printed and/or digital copy at PassionPinups.com.
*Thank you to Christine and Brett of Passion Pinups and a special thanks to my friend Debra Shirley for creating me that absolutely exquisite and fabulous barbie mermaid fascinator.
