Hello everyone. I’m so excited to announce my second time being published in Sex Kitten Pinup Magazine. Although this issue was mostly summer based, it came out later than expected because of important issues but I am so happy with this issue. (I will also be in the Halloween edition of Sex Kitten Pinup coming very soon so stay tuned.)
Issue #3 is very special to me, because not only were my photos published but I was specially asked to write an article called, “What Pinup Means to Me” which was also published. I was very honored to be asked. I love and have a great relationship with the creator Miss Corpse of Sex Kitten and want to thank her for asking me to be contribute to the magazine. Hope you enjoy my photos, some you may have seen before, and I definitely hope you all enjoy my articles in this issue.
To get this issue, you can buy it digitally or in print. I always love print. To buy this issue and other issues go to http://www.magcloud.com/user/misscorpse. For some reason my Mermaid Outfit Article from this morning got deleted by accident. No worries though. I have now problem reposting my Mermaid Fantasy Outfit.
First of I’ll begin saying that yes, there was a craze in the beauty community and now a few makeup gurus feel that unicorns and mermaids are not trendy anymore since last year. That’s so stupid to me. I love mermaids and the aquatic. That’s what I based my fifth outfit on. I wore my iridescent mermaid scale dress that I wore to L.A Dragcon so I can look very “fish.” I wasn’t going to buy that dress just for one convention so I enjoy wearing it everyday. I love my mermaid skater dress and it’s nice and cool and perfect for the scorching heat. Today’s makeup is my normal vintage pinup eyes and pink lipstick topped with “Elemental” from Magic Monster’s Cosmetics.
To turn my mermaid look into a clear blue oceanic fantasy, I donned my new deep burgundy red velvet page boy hat. As with my jewelry, I wore my abalone earrings and matching bracelet. The best part was my beautiful purple swarovski crystal fish ring that I got with my mom at the MONTAGE hotel in Beverly Hills. I then of course wore my purple pearlized IRON FIST shell wedge heels. The finishing touch was me holding up my iphone cover with my liquid and glitter water.
I loved wearing this outfit! Don’t be afraid to have a fun theme in your fashion, especially if it’s a colorful one in the summer.
Thanks for reading my article and leave you comments and likes below. And make sure to follow me if you haven’t already!
This past weekend I did one of my first official shoots of the summer. It was a “Poolside Pinup Shoot,” where I donned my brand new “Tiki Zombie”style bathing suit with my matching hand fan, (Both by one of my favorite all time brands, “SourPuss Clothing,” which I use the tiki monster fan very often to dry my makeup setting spray faster when I’m getting ready for the day.
Sunday was the day of the shoot after a “Father’s Day celebration and I was fortunate enough to have a warm, but not too warm weather to shoot, beautiful lighting, and a perfectly blue pool. To match my tiki pinup pool outfit, I donned my new “Mother of Pearls” heels by “Iron Fist Clothing,” a gorgeous purple sparkly rose clip, and my new “Purple Sunset,” sunglasses. I also changed up a few shots with my cute pinup black and white polka dot “Cat Eye,” sunglasses. Of course I had plenty of sunscreen on for my porcelain skin and my black cover up.
I’m very happy with these photos and glad this was one of my first photoshoots for the summer. I hope you enjoy them, and definitely leave me some comments to let me know what you think.
THANK YOU! xoxo Carlie
