Good Morning fabulous friends and followers. I’m up early to get ready for a fun day at Universal Studios Hollywood. I’m going with my husband of course and two of my best friends and darling couple, Kirsty and Jordan Giuliani. I’ve written about them before as well as working with Jordan in front of and behind the camera lens.
Since I’m going to a theme park today, I’m bringing one of my small purses with me that is decorated with some of my fun brooches and pins and wanted to show them off. Since we talk a lot about fashion, style, and adding your own personal touches and uniqueness to your looks, I thought it was fitting to show off some of my pins from my collections. Brooches and pins are a real easy way to personalize your stuff and add a little extra pizazz to your outfit. I love putting them on coats, handbags (the non-expensive handbags of course), top and bottom pieces, and more. If you are a creative person, you can make your own and find supplies at places like Michael’s or if you don’t want to do that, you can find really cool pins at many places as well as online. I love collecting them from concerts, events, (such as drag con) amusement parks, etc. I love finding vintage inspired brooches and also collecting fancier ones with Swarovski crystals and jewels. (Since I’ll be at a theme park all day, I think I’ll leave my more rare and expensive pieces at home.) I think that pins and brooches are extra special also when they are handmade.
They are just a fun and easy way to spice up your wardrobe and life. Here are the ones that I’m wearing today with my very appropriate Classic Hollywood Universal Monster cross body purse. I also included where I got this group of pins as well so you can check them out.
