Today I’m posting a feature on the business, “Street Trash Art. Most of you know that both my husband and myself are both artists and I’m a true believer in artists supporting other artists. With that being said, besides supporting them, I also fell instantly in love with Street Trash Art.
Street Trash Art is a business started by two artists, Haley Murin and Dustin Tyler that creates glamour and horror (My favorite combo) inspired items, such as clothing, accessories, things for the home, etc. Their aesthetic is what first drew me towards them. I met Haley through Facebook on the Glamour Ghoul Gang page, and we instantly clicked. The first big thing that brought us together is that not only do we both enjoy the horror genre, we both LOVE Freddy Krueger and even swapped sweatshirts. I am absolutely in love with my new Freddy hoodie. I told her how much I love Freddy and ended up giving her my Freddy hoodie since I was getting one from them.
The style of Street Trash is unique and you always feel like you’re getting something that’s one of a kind. I was just in San Francisco and my new hoodie was one of the first things I packed and was perfect for the cold, foggy, and beautiful city. It’s so soft and comfortable and definitely helped me stay warm. I was glad that I packed it and enjoyed wearing it and taking with me on my trip.
Here’s a really cute and quick mini-bio on Street Trash, directly from them. Besides the pictures that they gave me for their feature below, I also included some product shots to give you a taste of what they create. Definitely check Street Trash Art at their links below!
Here’s the story of Street Trash Art. It’s quick and to the point. I love it:
“Street Trash Art was formed in November on 2017, consisting of artists, Dustin Tyler and Haley Murin. Upon their first time meeting in September of 2017, they had a connection that was the spark they always needed, to fuel the motivation to pursue a world in which they wanted to live…
A world full of – horror movies, bright colors, the season fall and 80’s pop music!”
I couldn’t have said it better.
Again I definitely recommend checking them out and see all the things that they make and sell. I personally want to buy everything so check them out as fast as you can before I snag everything.
Here’s their official website and all their links:

All I need is a pair of roller skates, tube socks and a long blond wig and I’d look a roller girl from the 70’s era.
I don’t remember where I found this strapless, velour, short jumpsuit but I was thrilled when I saw it and had to snag it.
After talking to my mom yesterday, she told me the girls wore these mini jumpsuits to go roller skating, to the beach, and to the discos.
Besides my yellow one piece suit and my 7 inch green glitter heels, I also wore a new handmade strawberry hair piece from MonarchsFlowers. I love her stuff because each piece is unique which is what I look for when purchasing hair flowers or accessories. Definitely check out her store.
I’m so glad I found this outfit and felt like a disco queen. What are your thoughts and comments? Post them below. Also any ideas related to the 70’s roller girl look or any ideas in general, leave them below too. I love hearing from you guys. Lots of love! 💝
I just finished filming my latest video because I’ve had girls reach out to me recently saying that they are getting into the Rockabilly/Pinup style but are feeling discouraged and not confident because they feel that they aren’t styling themselves the right way or other people are telling them that they’re not dressing or doing their makeup the correct way and that they don’t look like how a Pinup Girl should look. I THINK THAT IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND UNACCEPTABLE because the Pinup and Rockabilly Community is such a positive one and being a Pinup is all about having confidence and feeling beautiful and no one should ever put people down or tell them that they aren’t looking the right way.
In this video, I definitely give my opinions on the situation and clear up a few things and misconceptions. Enjoy and subscribe to my youtube channel if you haven’t already.
DISCLAIMER: In this video, I’m talking about a very small group of individuals that take this lifestyle to seriously that are bringing down girls who are new to this lifestyle. I’m not talking about the majority of the pinup/rockabilly community. I love everyone in the pinup/rockabilly community!
Some of you heard me talk about an upcoming beautiful 1900’s Victorian-esque photoshoot. It’s for a very important photography commission.
When getting my outfits and costumes ready, I got all my jewelry and accessories and makeup out but looking at myself I knew that something was still missing from my Victorian look. It was a hat. As an artist, you all know I love unique and handmade pieces so when I saw these beautiful HANDMADE hats and hat fascinators, I knew I had to have them. They are created by the lovely and fabulous Debra Shirley. Her MILLINERY SKILLS or (THAT MAKING SKILLS FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON’T KNOW WHAT MILLINERY MEANS) are ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE and the pieces she creates are ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLY FABULOUS! She makes hats and fascinators for all occasions such as the Kentucky Derby, going for afternoon HIGH TEA at a fabulous hotel, and more.
I can’t wait to do my two shoots with my new hats and a HUGE SHOUTOUT to Debra Shirley. She is so sweet and will be doing a big feature on her very soon. To see her work on her INSTAGRAM, her profile name is debrashirley1111.
I also included two pics of me with one of the hat fascinators that she specifically made for me. I have two from her but I’m not sure if I want to show both sneak peeks yet. I might wait to reveal my other flower hat until I do my shoot in a few days.
If you want to really see my other hat, leave it in my comments.
I love my handbag collection and wanted to show three new purses that I recently got within the last month.
If you read my past September article here on my favorite accessory brands and designers, “My Top Favorite Accessory Brands,” you definitely saw that Lux De Ville is one of my top favorite handbag brands. The first two bags below are from them.
My first new Lux De Ville purse is the “Mini Lady Vamp Tote Venom” in Red Sparkle. Even though this bag is a mini bag, it is still a good size that still allows you to carry all your essentials. It comes with an attachable adjustable shoulder strap which can definitely come in handy. It also has small studded bullet feet which I absolutely love! I love purses and handbags with bullet feet! All Lux de Ville products come with cute detachable charms, and this red lady vamp one comes with a skull bauble with diamond rhinestone eyes.
My other new Lux De Ville bag is the “Black Widow Hatbox” in all black. I love using hat boxes but don’t have any hat box purses so I was very excited to get this. It has really cool spiderweb stitching design which I love. It has a top handle and comes with an attachable adjustable strap also. It’s a very spacious bag with black and black leopard print inside. Like my red lady vamp tote venom, my black widow hatbox comes with the skull bauble. It has regular size bullet feet as well.
My third new purse I bought myself is a different style than the first two but still just as fabulous. It is a purple colored vintage sequined clutch. It’s perfect for a night out and has a beautiful beaded and sequined design to it. It has an ornate metal detailing at the opening of this clutch with a short metal handle. It comes with removable metal shoulder chain also. It’s perfect for an evening out.
Thank you for checking out my three new additions to my handbag collection. If you haven’t already, check out and read my article “My Top Favorite Accessory Brands” and definitely check out Lux De Ville’s website. Also if you’re interested in vintage handbags, there are plenty of resources online as well that can help you find a good one.
In my article “My Top Three Favorite Drag Queens,” I didn’t include the fabulous Ben De La Creme because even though she is definitely one of my all time favorite drag queens, I felt she needed an article post all to herself.
Here is a little information about Ben de la creme and why I love her:
First off, when I first saw her on RuPaul’s drag race, she came out and introduced herself and stated that Ben de la creme is “terminally delightful” which I thought was brilliant. I instantly loved her look and fashion and fell in love immediately with her personality. Because of her wonderful personality, she won “Miss Congeniality” on Season 6. Every time I watch anything with De La, she instantly makes my smile and laugh, whether I’m in a sad mood or not.
Another reason I love DeLa is because her performances include COMEDY, BURLESQUE, (WHICH OF COURSE I LOVE AND AM OBSESSED WITH BECAUSE I’M A BURLESQUE PERFORMER AS WELL) and ALL AROUND GLAMOUR, including PINUP GLAMOUR, (WHICH OF COURSE IS RIGHT UP MY ALLEY TOO!)
I wish Ben De La Creme was my brother or my sister because of all the things we have in common. He is so gorgeous as a man and as a woman.
ONE OF MY WISHES AND GOALS IS TO DO A DOUBLE BURLESQUE STYLE ROUTINE WITH BEN DE LA CREME AND TO DO A DOUBLE HOLLYWOOD PINUP SHOOT WITH HER!
I CAN’T WAIT TO MEET Ben De La Creme at RUPAUL’S DRAG CON in Los Angeles in May!
Here’s De La’s website with links to her social media:
