I’m Back with My new Bundle of Joy!

Hi everyone, long time no chat. It’s been an absolutely crazy but enjoyable nine months. My husband and I had a beautiful baby boy who is now at week and two days. He’s the most precious thing I’ve ever seen. I know many new parents say that but in this case, it’s true. HaHa. I wanted him for so long and I must confess that I was feeling hopeless at times. Luckily I had an absolute amazing team of doctors and nurses who helped me out through my pregnancy and the team was rated NUMBER 1 in Orange County and Southern California.

I couldn’t have done it without this fabulous team of doctors and my MOST AMAZING AND SUPPORTIVE HUSBAND NIMA SORAT! He stood by my side during every moment.

I don’t want to post any pictures of my son here because I posted two on my Instagram and on my Facebook when I announced his birth, so feel free to check out my cutie there. I just didn’t want to bombard my page here with photos.

I got pregnant right before COVID so unfortunately Nima couldn’t go to most of my OBGYN appointments but he got to attend the early ones plus the first ANATOMY ULTRASOUND which was the most amazing thing. And of course he was in the delivery room and hospital with me which was the most important thing. Nima has been a saint and I’m so grateful for him and our new beautiful family. And I’m excited it’s the holiday season coming up.

I DEFINITELY KNOW WHAT I’M GRATEFUL FOR! MY BABY HAS BEEN THE ONLY GREAT THING ABOUT 2020!

If you have any baby or pregnancy stories, feel free to share here in the comments. I’d love to hear your experiences!

XOXO Carlie

Bettie Page Collaboration with Peggy Stone, Part 2

IMG_9888

Here it is finally, my double BETTIE PAGE COLLABORATION WITH MY PINUP SISTER PEGGY STONE! I’m so glad we got to do these shoots as our first collab together. I know her and I will be doing more soon. We definitely both have the classic Bettie Page essence and aura within us. I love how even though we have different hair colors and different outfits in our photos, they all go together beautifully.

Her photos were taken by Richard Kitchen whose Instagram handle is @rwk_photography. Mine were taken by Nima/Nick Sorat whose Twitter handle is @inqtanq and Nima Sorat on Facebook. Enjoy our double beautiful and fabulous photoshoot.

Thank you Peggy for doing this with me and I simply adore you sis. xoxo

Bettie Page Collaboration with Peggy Stone, Part 1

I met Peggy Stone earlier this year. Actually I think I met her at the end of last year and we immediately hit it off. First reason was we are both published pinup models and actually have a spread in Passion Pinup’s Magazine right next to each other which was definitely kismet. The other most important thing Peggy and I have in common is that Bettie Page is both our Pinup Vintage Icon! I wish I still had my picture from high school where I was dressed like Bettie for Halloween.

It’s amazing how much Peggy and I have in common, such as her man takes a lot of her model shots like my husband does for me sometimes. I’ve even given and sold her some of my Bettie memorabilia like the matching flasks which you’ll see in part 2. We are definitely Pinup sisters.

Peggy and I text almost everyday and I love our friendship. She says I’m her big sis, even though she’s not that much younger than me, haha, and she’s my baby pinup sis. I hope she comes to California soon.

For this collaboration, we decided to do a Bettie Page double shoot. Duh! Haha! Bettie Page was such a natural beauty. She didn’t just do lingerie and fetish shoots but also more “Cheesecake Pinup” shots which I show here in my cherry looks. 🍒 For my hair, I did a beautiful wet set waves and since my Bettie bangs are grown out, I found my clip on Bettie Bangs.

Bettie was such a natural beauty. She didn’t fuss with a lot of eyeliner or heavy makeup. She just wore powder, mascara, and of course red lip stick, which I recreated in my photo sets. Here are a few of my cherry cheesecake photos but stay tuned for part 2 of this to see more sexy photos of my baby sis Peggy and me! Make sure to watch out for our matching flasks!

Sex Kitten Pinup Magazine

Volume 1, Issue 3

Hello everyone. I’m so excited to announce my second time being published in Sex Kitten Pinup Magazine. Although this issue was mostly summer based, it came out later than expected because of important issues but I am so happy with this issue. (I will also be in the Halloween edition of Sex Kitten Pinup coming very soon so stay tuned.)

Issue #3 is very special to me, because not only were my photos published but I was specially asked to write an article called, “What Pinup Means to Me” which was also published. I was very honored to be asked. I love and have a great relationship with the creator Miss Corpse of Sex Kitten and want to thank her for asking me to be contribute to the magazine.  Hope you enjoy my photos, some you may have seen before, and I definitely hope you all enjoy my articles in this issue.

To get this issue, you can buy it digitally or in print. I always love print. Mrs. Freddy Krueger

This past Sunday, I did a photo shoot inspired by my favorite horror movie character, Freddy Krueger. If you’ve known me for awhile and/or followed my site here, you already know how much I love Robert Engund aka Freddy Krueger and that I have one of the autographed gloves from the movie series, and that I’ve dressed up like him and done shoots inspired by him many times. This Freddy Krueger shoot however was different.

This shoot is a collaboration with my good friend Haley Murin. If you don’t remember, Haley is one of the owners and artists of Street Trash Art along with her talented fiance’ Dustin Tyler that made by amazing Nightmare on Elm Street hoodie that I rocked in San Francisco. We traded Freddy hoodies. Haley and I don’t live close which is really unfortunate but I believe we are definitely psychically linked because we both happened to acquire the exact same pair of Nightmare on Elm Street socks. I thought that it was funny and cool that we have such similar taste that I thought taking photos of us in our Freddy gear would be a cool and fun idea…. and I was right.

I donned a black and burgundy wig and did a black glittery smoky eye look topped with my new black and orange glitter lipstick. I also had my collectible Freddy Krueger bronze mold also from the movie as a prop to show off. The weather is started to finally cool down by me so taking hoodie photos with my matching knee socks outside without sweating to death was really nice.

I really enjoyed doing this shoot and I can’t wait to see Haley’s pictures which I will post side by side soon. She is such a sweet and cool person and I’m very glad I met and have become friends with her.

Hope you enjoy my photos. Let me know below. Who are your favorite horror characters? What are your favorite horror films?

Weekend Fashion and Style

I went to go see the movie, “The Nun” yesterday, which by the way was good and very scary, and my husband and I both loved what I wore yesterday on our movie date and took some photos of my look. I was in a very artsy and bohemian mood, and enjoyed wearing my sexy leather shorts with a simple black tank top and my velvet floral kimono shawl. I paired it with my cute floppy hat and tortoise shell sunglasses. I finished my look off with my Valentino black and gold studded heels, my quilted classic Chanel Purse, some cute bangles, my gold pearl drop earrings from my friend Kirsty and my Edgar Allan Poe necklace made by my other friend Luna.

I love the mix of the color and black and white photos my man took and I felt like I was sitting in one of my favorite cafes in San Francisco. I really enjoyed this fun outfit of mine as well as my really fun day.
