Halloween Decor Hunting, Part 2, 2021

Ok everyone, here’s Part 2 of my amazing Halloween Decor Hunting for 2021. I got some great pieces this year which most of them will stay up in my house honestly, and some beautiful high quality items that I’m so happy to add to my collection. And the best part, most of the high quality items weren’t super expensive.

I found this gorgeous poison Apothecary bottle at Spirit Halloween. I wanted it the first moment I saw it on their website and when I went in, there was only this one left so it was meant to be. It’s a perfect addition to my other Apothecary bottles and decor in my witchy cottage!
Ok so in my first haul post, I showed my emerald snake wall piece but I finally got my other two wall pieces that I had ordered at the same time. I love my Salem Apothecary Potions sign and my smaller floral Victorian style snake piece. All three of these are from Michael’s and all this whole wall will be up year round of course.
I got my latest spooky mug and this Hocus Pocus cheese board at Marshal’s. This haunted house mug is the perfect addition to my mug collection, especially since we drink a lot of coffee, and the cheese board will be perfect with my skull cheese knives I bought a few years ago, since we make and serve a lot of charcuterie in our household.
I’ve been wanting to get this quilt for awhile and this year I finally did, and my beautiful boy loves it. I ordered my Edgar Alan Poe ‘NEVERMORE’ from The Lakeside Collection.
I love my new Psychic Fate pillow from Michael’s and this will stay with my other spooky pillows and new blanket all year round.
I found this Vintage handmade Harvest plate online and I’m so glad I have this with my other Harvest collection.
Got all these cuties from Target. I love them.
I found this wicked vampire coffin serving bowl online and I can’t wait to use it for my Halloween movie nights.

Halloween Decor Hunting, 2021

Hello everyone. I’m so excited to show off some of my new gorgeous pieces I picked up this year so far for Halloween. I started decor hunting at the end of July and couldn’t believe how many places were already starting to put spooky stuff out. My house is looking even more spooky now, and I’m definitely going all out this year, especially since it’s my son’s first Halloween. One of the first items I bought this year was a soft pumpkin for my son’s room as his very first pumpkin ever which he loves.

My house is already witchy and magical all year round but as I started decorating my house, I figured out a few Fall/Samhain themes to decorate my space this year which helped me decide which goodies I wanted to get this year to add to my decoration collection. They are, ” Cottage Autumn Harvest,” “Magical Witch Apothecary Lair,” and “Vintage Halloween Town.” My house already has these themes all year round but I’m glad I got to expand on these looks.

Everything in these photos I bought at the shops including, Michael’s, Big Lots, Homegoods, Tuesday Morning, Marshalls, and At Home.

The only items I bought online were my gorgeous Apothecary dishes from Royal Wessex, which of course I’ll use all year round, my three Autumn Gnomes, my Autumn Harvest placemats for my table, and my pumpkin harvest lantern which I got from Pier 1.

I’ll definitely be posting more goodies I buy this year but I thought this was a good starting off point to show. I’ll also be posting all my displays and decorations when I’m done adorning my house. I’m so happy it’s finally my favorite time of the year.

Magical Color and Spell Work for Today

Today’s Color: White. White is a color of everything. Anytime you have a ritual or spell that calls for a certain colored candle or crystal you don’t have, you can always use white. It’s a color of purity and is good to burn white candles around your home, especially your sacred space along with some sage to keep your home, yourself, and your energies safe and protected while cleansing your space of any negativity. I love quartz crystals and actually have a double ended large one near my front door to let the good energy in and the bad energy out!

HERE ARE TWO SIMPLE SPELL RITUALS THAT ARE GREAT TO DO WITH THE COLOR WHITE AND ON A WEDNESDAY!

THE MAGIC OF COMMUNICATION: Wednesday is also a great day for communication. Anything you have been wanting to say to someone or even to your self but have not been able to for whatever reason, holding a white crystal and/or burning a white candle to meditate on will help you get any vital thoughts or communication out, even if you are talking to a loved one that had past.

THE RITUAL OF BALANCE: One more spell that you can do with the color white is to write on a piece of paper, “The Ritual of Balance,” which is a ritual I created but condensed down here. Write on the piece of paper underneath the ritual title and that you desire to have balance in your life, you need balance in your home, etc. Whatever comes to you. It will make this spell more personal and effective. Keep your mind thinking of all the balance and positivity you will have!!!

Have two white candles, or one white and one black and place them on separate ends of your home. Burn your favorite incense and light your two candles. This will help bring balance to yourself and your surroundings. When the candles are burnt out, take another match and burn your ritual piece of paper.

BLESSED BE AND XOXO, CARLIE

MAGICAL COLOR AND SPELL WORK FOR TODAY:

Today’s Color: Scarlet. It’s a day for random, kind gestures.  Do what you can, where you can. Buy that person a coffee, offer a kind word, whatever you can to brighten someone’s day. Assume positive intent from people who cross your path. Take a piece of rose quartz  with you.

Tuesday and red is also a color and day of action. Get your prolonged errands done, do mediation that you’ve been putting off, finish projects or things around the house, etc.

A Happy Psychic Client

As you saw in my previous post, I’m offering readings like I always offer and now I give discounted prices for some of them depending on the length. My girlfriend Rose and I did one the other evening and she made a special video of her reaction to me. It was so sweet and I’m so grateful she is in my life! Make sure to watch this video and subscribe to her channel!

Double SNOW WHITE Tutorial, Part 2

I decided to amp up my Snow White tutorial. Like in part one of my Snow White tutorial, since I’m a witch, I countered the evil queen/old with poison apple spell and I survived. Because of that, I added a few more steps to part one of my Snow White tutorial. I didn’t redo my entire face, I just added a few more fun steps and did a quick video at the end. Enjoy!

For my eyes, I used my brand new Jolie Beauty Lash Lock glue, which I love, and applied “Carol Anne” from Trixie Cosmetics to the upper and lower inner corner of my eyes over my “Tako” shadow. After that, I used the glue again to apply “Slime Time” from Trixie Cosmetics on the upper eye lids right above my eyeliner all the way to the end. I did the same thing with “Slime Time” under the eye as well. Once I fanned the glitter dry, I re applied a thicker layer of my cake liner and then applied my mascara to my bottom lashes.

I wanted to amp up my Snow White look but not so much where I don’t look like her anymore.

Since I didn’t have any highlighter on obviously because Snow White didn’t wear highlighter, I decided to use my sparkly beautiful “Candy Apply Drip” Supreme Frost highlighter from Jeffree Star Cosmetics. I mean could it have been a more perfect name and color for this look?

I wanted to pump up my ruby red lips up a bit so I applied the luscious E.L.F Cosmetics, Jelly Pop, juicy gloss in, “Cherry Pop” to just the center of my lips.

I’m very pleased how this second part of my Snow White makeup tutorial look turned out. It was really fun and I had been wanting to do this look for awhile. I hope you all enjoy this and try either of these looks out for yourself.

XOXO, Carlie

OH AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!

Celebrating the last Happy Full Moon of 2019

december-cold-moon-COLDMOON1219

It’s the last Full Moon of 2019 and is known as the long “COLD MOON,” or the “LONG NIGHT’S MOON.” I have my altar set up yesterday to start the Full Moon energy and will be charging and dedicating some of my new crystals, do a card and crystal ball reading, add more notes to my grimoire, and just celebrate the Goddess because tonight is her night.

Blessed Be to all my fellow Witches and how will you be celebrating the Full Moon?

XoXo Carlie

P.S: TOMORROW IS THE LAST FRIDAY THE 13TH OF THE YEAR AND THEN US WITCHES HAVE OUR HOLIDAY, “YULE,” TO CELEBRATE THE BEGINNING OF WINTER
